CMH is affiliated with Bundy Auger Mining, Inc. which was started in 1985 and removes coal by the auger method under independent contract mining agreements.. The company also leases the machines to affiliated companies who operate and highwall mine under contract coal in West Virginia and Kentucky. Highwall Mining Solutions and Repair, LLC and Bundy Transport, LLC are other affiliated companies that service the highwall mining industry and offer heavy hauling.
